TIES president and CEO Jan Morrison moved the Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM to Cleveland, Ohio to setup a statewide STEM network in schools. Morrison believes in the importance of exposing children early to STEM activities at schools, daycares and Head Start programs. The use of in-house and mobile Fab Labs can help children learn computer literacy while exploring their world. Children already explore their world using block play and nature walks. Fab Labs and STEM programming will enhance their natural curiosity.
