The food truck is the latest development in what was TIES’ year-long engagement with a New Jersey school district to bring artificial intelligence, robotics and other technologies to the district’s learners.
TIES met with students, faculty, staff and community members to understand their goals for the learners and communities served and recommended the food truck and a series of other out-of-school activities and technologies.
The goal of TIES’ work with this district was to harness technology to better engage learners.
In addition to the food truck design and curricular development work, TIES also planned and facilitated a summer Artificial Intelligence academy for students throughout the district.
