Designing the Future of Learning
Digital Fabrication
Makerspaces and Digital Fabrication Labs allow learners to see themselves as creators and innovators. These environments promote experiential, trans-disciplinary learning by engaging students in real-world problem solving using authentic tools to develop, design, and create.
As pioneers in the alignment of digital fabrication and education, TIES’ experts work with partners to design and install both stationary and mobile creative learning spaces, co-create curriculum, and provide professional development in both formal and informal learning environments.
TIES is now integrating AI concepts into the teaching and learning in our labs, as we help students understand and explore the world of artificial intelligence with authentic examples.
