TIES partnered with several Louisiana-based organizations and Chevron to design Chevron:Fueling Math.

The project is a community awareness building initiative and math tutoring and mentorship program for middle school students and families.

From billboards to television interviews, Chevron:Fueling Math attracted a great deal of attention to the need to improve middle school math.

The project also includes a virtual math tutoring and mentoring project.
Dozens of community leaders, including many Chevron employees as well as local college students, signed on as math mentors and tutors.
